It porsche. They have leather bits down to a science. The XNG piece is actually almost on the gauges like a cowl directly above the steering column and is cut to fit around the gauge cluster. The mask description is perfect. If your interior is dark you almost don't notice. I have a carbon fiber one on one car and barely see that with black and silver stitch interior. I think the CZW piece is actually the dash piece above the steering area.

Porsche descriptions not great. Try figuring out leather air vents vs leather air vent slats in terms of what exactly you get and which has stitching around the vents without seeing them and you can't order both.

I've been asking a Porsche Exclusive- Personal Design Specialist lots of questions and he has been wonderful in providing explanations, pricing and excellent pictures that clearly demonstrate these obscure bits and pieces.

I had exclusive review my build and gave them instructions on what I wanted to achieve and they did the same. Selected every leather option and they addresses stitching...then post lock they added another small piece and I was locked out of it even though my car hadn't entered production. Dealer trying to order thru parts.

Great move. I love the leather instrument surround. I also got the deviated stitching on steering wheel with red center ring (which can also be factory ordered from Porsche Exclusive) and a fully metal version of the GT Sport steering wheel trim.

Can't think of anything I'd add other than if it would come with Margot Robbie in the passenger seat.
Thank you! And... could not agree more about your suggested option!

Not sure if I'd have preferred red seat belts... never did make up my mind on that.

But to me if I can't decide it usually means both options are reasonable so I don't worry much about which I pick.

Cool, thank you!
I priced deviated Bordeaux thread for my steering wheel, but decided to pass when the quote for a bit of different coloured thread came in at $5,120.00...

The leather surround finally came in since the factory forgot to install it when I ordered the Extended Leather option. Looks much better than the plastic IMO.

Looks great! Nice catch BTW, I expect some folks would not realize that is part of the package.

In addition to looking nice it should also be much friendlier wrt scratches. There is nothing you can do about scratched bare plastic. Leather massaging is quite common.

Every time you have bare plastic covered by paint or leather you gain more time with a cabin that doesn't look beat up.

Same for exterior. Some of those "paint this bit" options might pay for themselves over time.

Is this a Car forum or an Interior Design forum?! (I'm just kidding around.)

Get what turns your crank. Life is too short for regrets!

I can tell you this, when I'm driving the car, I could care less what stereo I have or what plastic piece is lovingly swathed in cowhide. The drive is all that matters to me.

Enjoy your new car!
