Default Thoughts on this '15 TTS

http://www.parkplace.com/mercedes-be...che-911-f74309

It's a 1-owner car according to the linked carfax, with around 600 miles on it.

Someone bought it, owned it for a few months, never drove it, and presumably traded it in at the Benz dealership.

It's spec'd pretty much how I'd have done it, right color, etc.

Thinking to buy this instead of a new 4S/GTS.

Thoughts/comments?

Thanks

I bought mine from Park Place. I'd definitely go this route over a new 4S.

Thanks, Stealth. Did you have them ship it to you or did you go in person? Do you recommend working with anyone in particular?

I'd def swap the tails -- not a fan of the clears. Wonder how it would look against the clear third brake light on the wing.

very nice. I bought a similar optioned car in April but black on black. Also had about 680 miles. I paid 155. If you can get this car for around 150 its a great deal IMO.

Nice build. You might consider at this price point looking at a new 991.2 Turbo -- with a discount (I got 5.5% off on a $168K build -- Sept) it's essentially the same price as this 2015 Turbo S. The benefits are getting newer technology, two year newer model, and essentially the same performance as the 2015 model. In addition, you could spec it exactly the way you want it. Of course, you'd need to get a build slot, and you'd have to wait.

I have bought many cars from this dealer network. They are great. Ask them to CPO it. They own a porsche dealer and I had mine CPO'd thru them. That would be a big win.

I would definitely get this over a 4S. If you're uncertain, take a drive and you won't look back.

Good advice on here, unless you are getting significant savings, spending that kind of $ it is much more satisfying to get a new car

$150k with a CPO would be a steal! You can easily have the clear lenses changed and still come out ahead.
