21" HRE P101s?
Ok....getting serious about getting a set of P101s for my TTS. If I do it it will be in the brushed dark clear finish. Center lock type wheels with TPMS.
Talked with Wheels Boutique, and I can go with stock 20" replacement sizes and use my existing tires (P-Zeros), or go for the badass HRE setup, which is Front 21 x 9.5 wheel with P-Zero 255/30/21 and Rear 21 x 12.5 wheel with P-Zero 325/25/21.
Just FYI the stock wheels are Front 20 x 9 with 245/35/20 tires and Rear 20 x 11.5 with 305/30/20 tires.
This 21" setup has no rubbing problems, and is a direct replacement without pushing the tires past the fenders. A downside is that Michelin PSS tires are not available in the 21" size, so I am limited to P-Zeros or Continental. Nothing wrong with the Pirellis, however.
What do you guys think? Go for the stock replacements or get the badass setup? Below is a pic of a GT Silver TTS coupe, just like mine, with the 21" setup. Fills out the wheel wells nicely.
Opinions?

It does, but in my neck of the woods, they're highly impractical, and seriously prone to damage, which is more a pain to repair, than to deal with the cost. One wheels goes down and you have to swap back to the originals while in repair...
Around here, you'd last a few days on 21's. I have scrapped 20's more than a few times due to road hazard...
That said, those 21" P101's on that silver TTS are stunning!

I'd need to see a set of these in 20" on a car with stock ride height before I made any call there. Don't suppose you guys have a shot to make a visual comparison? Personally I wouldn't go 21" as I couldn't imagine the car driving as well and I'm not prepared to compromise performance in any way shape of form just for the sake of a look.

Beautifyl but you seriously need to get rid of those amber turn signals.
These are by far my favorite wheels, well and the BBS FI. They look almost the same.

Thanks for showing! Not exactly the best example color wise as a combo, but the pics certainly give an idea on how the 20's look at stock height. Still very acceptable! And I imagine in the right color combo even better again?
I will concede the 21's look better, but I imagine the car's behavior would be negatively affected to much the same degree as say a 997tt stepped up to 20" from 19"? Any comments to that?

Depends on your definition of behavior. For most, noticing a power/performance difference between both diameters is difficult considering the tremendous power of the 991 Turbo, especially if the vehicle is not driven at the limit often.
Road noise will often permeate into the cabin more frequently with the larger diameter, but even that's not too bad. Also, we have heard positive feedback regarding ride quality in the 21" range so go figure!
