Hennesy. Allan I believe you are a customer of theirs as well. Blake called me ans set up an appointment. Jeff Corey knows all about this update. My car was produced in Nov of 13. You may not need it. Jim

Jim, Yes, Hennessy, I was there yesterday checking to to see if my car was listed for updates and Steve said no. My car was built 3/14 so maybe not necessary, I hope. Thanks, Allan

I wouldn't worry about. I can't tell any difference.

My car was built in April 2014, just had it in for an early oil change - no updates were required.

I called, on the list, but it is not mandatory, I am not getting it done. Car runs excellent, love the popping and leaving well enough alone...

Just tell em to do everything bar the symposer update then. I'm still convinced the popping volume has been detuned from where it was. It is still there but not as audibly prominent as it was imho, even with the EP on which sounds awesome btw. Can feel that extra torque too. WOT and power on makes up for any downsizing in the popping volume...which is still very nice when it is all said and done....just not as out there as what it was though if you ask me. Some may say that is not a bad thing.

Hard to say viper, the thing is so freaking fast as it is iykwim. It does feel a tad gruntier between shifts but that's the reduction in back pressure due to the EP exhaust. You can notice it and it does feel a touch meatier...and it sounds tougher under throttle for sure and revs out like crazy. The burbling/crackle and pop upon downshift and/or throttle release is more subdued in volume now and I'm sure i'm not imagining that. Prior to the update it was more noticeable/louder inside even on slow speed downshifts which all now sounds pretty much hardly there sometimes especially from 3rd back to 2nd to 1st. It's mainly only after some decent throttle followed by instant deceleration or some hard braking which triggers the over run that you get any real volume but its still pretty low key to how it was for sure. Noticeable but not as prominent as before when there was more definition and volume in the actual crackling and popping. Who knows. Others here are saying it's all the same. Maybe it's just my car or maybe now i've got a few extra miles things are sorting out in that area and while it is not the end of the world its NOT the same, no.
