Turbo S 180 miles on with brake issue
hello everyone
glad to be around here
i did purchase my 4th porsche, this time i went for the Turbo S pure white with black and red interior.
i drove the car 3 times maximum with only 180 miles ( 300 km ) and the night mare started.
i have this trick trick noise loud while braking and porsche in my town took the car for almost two weeks now with no solution!
apparently they say that the front left ceramic disk is damaged ( error in manufacturing ) but not sure! and they put the part in order with no luck knowing when will it arrive as porsche AG has issues with the supplier for brake disks ( ceramic ) and they are short in stock !!
i'm very disappointed to own such expensive car with such issue, anyone faced the same issue? they say it couple be a common issue in turbo s models but in my country UAE just one car.
let me know the idea's guys
thanks

Check the 991GT3 forum.
All the GT3s that came with PCCBs(Porsche Ceramic Brakes) are being recalled because of a noise they make.
They should be able to work it out for you,no worries.

I hear the same issue with my car i believe, when I brake at slow speeds hear this same sound... I am yet to take it in to the dealer, but already notified them regarding this. Hopefully they can rectify the issue quick.

OP
Was your Turbo S at Nabooda few days back?
I noticed a white turbo s that was on a lift and they seemed to be looking at brakes.
I have a turbo on order and was really thinking to get a turbo s instead due to the rims & PCCB. However it worries me that we have lost of dust, construction and stone chips which it seems the PCCB don't like!
