Anyone Have Any Update On Devlivery Date
#3
It depends on the country/region.
There is a delivery embargo in place though, so no customer car will make it to customers before Oct. 5th.
I get my car on Oct. 5th (Germany) but it is a Turbo S. The regular Turbo is expected for November/December.
In the US, first cars (Turbo S) are expected around November, the Turbo in December or January.
There are a couple of dealers here in the forum, so maybe they know better.
In Germany, first cars should arrive at dealers around end of September, early October.

i have seen no information on Turbo deliveries but my dealer today advised a 2 week delay on my GT3
delivery with Vehicle completion extended from Nov. 15 to Nov. 29 and dealer delivery extended from
Jan. 3rd to Jan. 17th, 2014. 2 weeks is not too bad for a totally new model - but I'm still counting down the days on these great new cars.

I am trying to coodinate delivery of the TT-S to my mid-west Porsche delaer from Porsche, and then arrange delivery via commercial trucking to the Phoenix Arizona region.
My in-laws are in their early 80's (and very active), and we are going to spend time again with them sometime TBD later this year.....but we are trying to fix a date that coincides with having the car shipped to Phoenix.
The goal is to coordinate the delivery of the car to Phoneix (we'll fly into Phoenix) spend time with the in-laws, and then spend a month driving the southwest.
Any in-put would be appriciated.

I don't know of any significant delay in 991 Turbo S production. My car exits production on Sept. 27th, it was supposed to be ready Sept. 26th, so one day isn't really an issue.
Your dealer should have the production date and I suppose based on his experience with transport to the US, he can predict when the car is going to arrive at his dealership.
Also, there is (was?) the possibility of air transport if you want your car badly. Not sure how much it costs now and if it is still available but this should shorten the wait time substantially. Last time I checked, it was something around 5k USD. Not sure though.

Spoke to my dealer today... the TTS I ordered is on its way and should arrive in Brunswick late next week. However, the dealer believes it won't be "released" by PCNA until December 6.

My dealer told me the launch here in Ohio, USA is December

My TTS is supposed to arrive at Brunswick 11/12/13. I am sure that date is moveable forward or backward. I'd guess our cars are on the same ship.

My dealer told me today that no Turbo Ss (and, I assume, no Turbos) will be released in the US until December 1st. Something to do with EPA certification or similar red tape.
Knowing that early buyers have to wait an extra month takes some of the sting out of my anticipated first-week-in-February delivery.
