I went with an Advantage lift, mostly for versatility, Advantage DX-9000-XLT | 9,000 LBS. 4-Post Lift. This one is heavy duty so I could work on my F-150 when needed. I also like the idea it comes with a castor set, so when empty you move it around.
Quickjack, as my garage is to low for a post lift. Quickjack is stored under the Porsche when not in use. Thought about replacing garage floor and putting a lift in but my wife shot it down hard when she heard the cost. For me the Quickjack works for all my needs.
I have two lifts, not in a typical garage space but in my shop. I got both of them from Wholesale Lifts (liftswholesale.com) and I worked directly with the owner, David. He's awesome to work with.
Four-post:
Triumph NSS-8
8,000 LB Standard Length
110V
I have them next to each other in the back 1/3rd of my shop with the four-post being moveable. It came with a set of wheels to make it easy to move. Both have been well worth the money spent on them. I store my R8 on the four post and I've used it recently for work on another car we just got, it's perfect for simple exhaust work, etc. The two post has been an absolute life saver on the 911 rebuild. The car lived on that lift for months this winter while I worked on it. The asymmetrical arms are great for getting in and out of the car.

Is that a red with white stripe viper with a wing on a gen 4? You don't see that combination to often.
