Default 991.1 turbo brake replacement

I’ve been catching up on all the maintenance and I’m finally on to brakes. Currently the market has EBC yellow stuff below $400 for a whole set but I’m not too confident in their product. What set ups have you guys had luck with?

I replaced my 380/380 irons with a set of Racing Brake 410/390 CCM rotors & street pads and a set of OE yellow calipers to replace the factory reds. Stunning brakes though a bit noisy now at low speeds. If you want silence I'd recommend a set of OE pads and live with the dusting.

Interesting pics. BTW, with the wheels still mounted

Unless you track it, I recommend Hawk Ceramic Pads for steel rotors. Much less dust and no squealing.
Not as dust free as PCCB, but so much less dust than stock that you'll be impressed.
You can read about Hawk Ceramic pads on TireRack.com
I put em on my 991.2 Modified Turbo and am very happy with them.

I went with Girodisc 380s Front/Rear, and then Textar 'OEM' pads for now.
Giros are amazing, and the Textars work fine for daily driving and my local track HPDE events.
I will be throwing on some more track-focused pads when I hit COTA in November, though.

I have 'Big Reds' too and this is a pretty simple and worthwhile upgrade, IMO.

Second that. I went with AP J Hooks and Hawk Ceramics. Almost dust free. Performance is plenty for street.

Take a look at Endless MX-72 Plus pads. Have run the older MX-72's on several cars. Closest thing to a Unicorn pad you will find - Great stopping power with excellent modulation, virtually zero dust, and no squeal. The MX-72 Plus has a higher temp range than the old MX-72 so more flexible pad for both street and track use.
