New Porsche 991 1/2 Mile World Record: 220 mph
New 991 World Record! 220mph in standing 1/2 mile at Shift-S3ctor Indy Airstrip Attack today.
This resets my 215mph record from last year for the Porsche 991 platform.
Had to leave by 11am today to catch my flight, so this was the first and only pass this morning. Tuner extraordinaire Emre Levent from ES Motor worked his magic and gave me the sauce I needed.
Thank you AIM Performance, ES Motor & Emre Levent!

Congratulations! UGR folks are probably not thrilled at this development... all that displacement and force distribution among 10cyls and still being spanked by 6-bangers. AFAIK, GTRs at that level are a good 500hp at the wheels over your crank output. Whatever Emre is doing to keep that thing planted is epic.
I'm just starting to relearn my car now that its running on motec and never cease to be impressed at how far these aftermarket builds are past the cream of manufacturer crop.Just dawned on me too that you blew by the top speed of a RUF CTR... in 1/2 a mile. RUF should probably call Emre themselves .

@8SecDD As usual mind blowing result.
I have a question about the acceleration graph:
Is the noise in the graph the result of poor signal acquisition, sampling, and conditioning?
Or is the thing struggling that much for traction over the run?
I would expect to see some evidence of “struggling” when acceleration is greater than ~1G (on treaded street tires) below 80-ish mph when aero downforce starts to matter. But, in your graph, above that there’s still very significant variation in display acceleration which I would not expect to see.

Absolutely amazing. Very impressive my friend. I noticed that your tune allows you to go beyond the Red-line limit. Is that true. If so I'm sure that
helps achieve such acceleration.
Nice post.

Thanks, man! Yeah, my record run was not on the livestream because I went right after Mark Rau's 260mph World Record pass and all of their attention (rightfully so) was on him.

I get what you're saying with the resources poured into those UGRs, which are amazing in their own right, but not sure 40+mph behind is 'spanking'... As long as they're both doing the 1/2 mile which I think they are. My track tech has a UGR Gallardo which I've ridden in and it's something to experience first-hand.
Either way, congrats to anyone setting new records, this will be a fun video to watch during lunch!
