Haven’t heard of the DSC causing that before. However, it could be from disconnecting and what not. Is it directly related like right after you did it? Do you have something to reset the computer with?

It could be the DSC. Check the two connectors and make sure they are fully seated. If that doesn't work, put the OEM controller back in and see if you still have errors.
When Tom C. at DSC installed mine, his first step before buttoning everything up is to check that there are no PASM errors.
P.S. I know from our previous conversations, you already had your DSC before you took delivery of your car. Did you have it from a previous 991 you owned or did you purchase it from someone?

Had/have same error code. Checked with TPC. Here is their response:
Hi Joseph. Thanks for your email. Most scan tools are designed only to read the stock PASM controller. With the DSC controller installed on the car the scan tool will show that the stock controller is not connected, which is considered a fault. As long as there is no fault showing the car's dashboard then it is fine. The same type of situation occurs when the stock PCM has been upgraded to an aftermarket radio/Nav head unit, where the scan tool was only designed to read the stock PCM.

I think the above explanation explains some of the reports from folks who think they have DSC controller problem, when in actuality they don't. A scan tool shows an error, when in actuality there is no error. The tool just doesn't recognize that there is a functioning PASM controller present because most scan tools only recognize OEM systems.
As stated above, as long as there is no error on the dash and it displays changes between NORMAL and SPORT settings, the DSC controller is functioning properly.

Thanks all! It does change from normal to sport. I haven’t done much in terms of changing the original settings on the DSC. But I do have a usb cable wired to it that is behind my back seat. Interested to see what if any settings you all would recommend me trying?

If you like the default settings that the DSC ships with, I'd recommend not messing with the settings. Those settings are the result of testing by a very experienced chassis engineer and professional Porsche racer (Mike L.).
Unless you are tracking, and you have a lot of experience, there's no good reason to change them. If you do know what you're doing, and you're visiting different tracks, there are good reasons to make changes for different tracks, but you have to understand the differences between tracks in order to benefit from DSC settings for different tracks.
