I received the car yesterday. Drives great on the 25psi setting. Only issue is that Cobb tuner was not with the car so I can’t pull logs or adjust anything. Porsche Houston had car on consignment first then it went to Auto Trends. Original owner says it was on passenger seat when it went to Porsche. When he picked car up to send to Auto Trends it was not there so he assumed it was in frunk or glove box but never verified. Porsche dealer says they can’t find it. Really hoping Porsche dealer didn’t throw it out.
Trying to evaluate my options here. If the Cobb can’t be found can I pair a new ridiculously overpriced Cobb unit to it while it’s still married to old unit or does ECU need sent to Cobb as with some cars to be unlocked? This is also assuming that prior owner still has the ECU / TCM files.. otherwise I’ll need to start over. Car was advertised as including Cobb tuner so hoping to get some help from dealer if a new tuner is needed.
On a brighter note, she’s sitting pretty in my garage now:
