For the GT3 steering, it doesn’t come up in my menu. I have an 991.2 turbo S.

Other 911 models do show up though. …and which one is my default?

I looked but did not change mine when I saw I did not have the gt3 option. My ‘17 TTS (991.2) was set to TOP and I left it.

I meant to come here and ask what TOP was … it was a few weeks back … but I never made it here to ask.

I did not have an electric power steering module listed in my module list… just power steering … I was using a launch x431.

Thanks.. I bought this Thinkdiag+ just for that feature so I might have to return it.

At least fix your lying coolant temp gauge before you return it. 😎

I changed so many things that I think it have gotten the value out of mine, regardless of the steering.

If you look at the spreadsheet screenshot I posted you here you can see the “value” I have gotten so far, nvm the SIA for oil and battery changes.

I added to my post above. No other “The Cake is a Lie” things, but worth looking at.

Made the backlight of my gauges stay on all the time, made the seat adjust back farther when I open the door, turned off the back up camera at 3mph, made 4bars in my oil reading, raised my boost gauge for impending tune, changed to true temps. Gonna try a PDK relearn with it tomorrow

If you are doing PDK relearn (and by that I mean calibration not adaptation reset) see my post here about the PDK Torque process being a predecessor activity before calibration: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1384...l#post19664137

Thanks for putting that together! I guess I’ll keep the Thinkdiag. $100 isn’t going to break me.

@B Russ Did you complete your PDK relearn today? Anything to share?

I am a little surprised on “no difference so far”. Did you do the recalibrate or relearn or both?

Did the calibrate take 12-15 minutes and thunk through the gears and change the idle rpm from 800 to 1200 to 1000, etc?

When I did mine (via Cobb Accessport) the most noticeable difference was the smoother 2-1 downshift … got rid of the thunk/clunk.

Yes it did change idle speeds, didnt really hear much clunking. it was supposed to be a relearn

Got it. I did the relearn procedure first which wipes out learned adaptations followed by the recalibration. That was noticeable for the first 15 miles or so … just feel really weird. After that the 2-1 downshift was the real difference. It’s good to know that the calibration can be called by the ThinkDiag … thanks for confirming.

Anyone know if this works on 991.2? And can you adjust spoiler values with this or is that a PIWIS only thing?
