Job all done and...... now time for a beer or two . Should have taken a pic of a beer lol.

All button up. Night and day difference. The beast is super clean now.

Now.... I'm onto planning the next "To Do" tasks for the Beast. That being spark plugs, drive belt, engine air filter and AWD controller oil change. Slowly getting there.

Obviously could have undertaken the AWD controller oil change whilst I had the beast lifted but.... I was concentrating on getting her all cleaned up and then get her out and test drive the new rubber, which perform great.

Finally I've order the Borg Warner oil and will finalize orders for the remaining parts soonish.

Not sure how I missed this - first off, congrats on the new turbo, I recognize the delivery bay...

Second, if you ever feel so inclined, you are more than welcome to take mine apart in the same manner and make it as clean as yours; very impressive!

Cheers for that. Maybe I'll see you cruising around Vancouver one of these day.

As of this afternoon I've purchased and now basically awaiting delivery of following parts from Pelican Parts. This is my first time purchase with them and received a 10% discount, which is nice.

I've previously been using FCP Euro for our Macan Turbo ( and will still). Just thought I give them a try as other members have recommended and their pricing was excellent compared to here etc.

Awaiting delivery of the following from Pelican Parts:-
- Frunk Air Filter
- Cabin Air Filter
- Engine Air Filter
- Drive Belt
- Spark Plugs
- AWD Controller 2x Crush Washer/Plug Gasket (whatever name you prefer to call them)

What do you use as a mounting/contact point for underneath the car? I've seen a fair amount of not complaints but "I'm 100% sure on this" for using their supplied set of 'blocks'. I think they offer a rubber hockey puck style pad, which is what I use when my track tech let's me borrow his full lift for jobs, before I got the QuickJacks.

I'm pretty hard to miss, everything but the 991 has a fancy exhaust, so you'll likely hear me first. I'm up in Pont Grey, if you ever want to get together and have a beer, let me know!

Cheers,

Congratulations, beautiful car and cleanup work. How's the brake dust situation on metals under heavy use? Thinking "white car with ccms" may not have been the best combination of options although that gets quickly forgotten when in the drivers seat .

I purchased some dedicated pucks that fit into the mounting slot underneath the car, which I high recommend. I'll send you a pic of there tomorrow and send you way.

Haha okay sounds good. You mean Point Grey right ? For sure I know that area, in particular whenever there is a low tide during the summer season my wife and I venture there to take our best mate to Spanish Banks as it is a fantastic spot for off leash for dogs etc.

I actually drove this afternoon in the 911 for a quick spin due to the great weather.

Cheers for the comment. I've experienced no issues and/or concerns with amount of brake dust. Though having said that my beast isn't my daily, so.... that might be a different story if that was the case.
