Running a bunch of 1/8th miles should give me a good idea how the cars runs overall in the 1/4.

typically it's 1/8th mi x 1.55 i wanna say? i have always used

Yes.. made a few 1/8th hits and then was warned .. so that was the last hit of the day. NHRA rules have to be updated..

Ive been booted off the track for running a bone stock Huracan, with a helmet and fire suit.
Ive seen more than one tech get stumped and begin to question the center locking nut AKA race nut. Could not comprehend a car not having lug bolts.
They're stuck in the past.

Definitely. NHRA is way behind the times with modern supercars. They need to adapt or THEY will be kicked out/eliminated.
