AIM ES850 turn-key in the garage...

Just updating this thread with some recent dragy data and to try to avoid hijacking other threads when I get new data.
Ran one 0-150 run covering the usual dragy data and got these results.
The run began off idle and without launch control.
There was a slight hesitation off the line which might have cost me a few tenths, so I think it may run low 10's without launch control, maybe better but will have to make more runs to find out.
I'm definitely pleased with this one preliminary attempt and am looking forward to getting back out there.
I'm going to have to head to Atco while I still can.
60 foot: 2.14 secs
1/8th mile: 7.17 @ 112.66 mph
1/4 mile: 10.61 @ 144.12 mph
0-60: 3.63 secs (3.20 secs w/1ft rollout)
60-130: 5.58 secs
100-150: 5.47 secs

Three Wheelin'
Local track here in Portland is a road course with a 1/4 drag strip for the front straight..
The running joke between the sports car guys and the local drag crowd,,
Know the diff between my Porsche and your Chevelle? If I blow the brake zone I wont die...
I can still make that 180 turn at the end...
or
Trash talk followed buy the Porsche guy telling the Blown Dragster driver,,, Sure we can bet pinks, but the race is ALL the way around the track..
LOL

I think the 80 extra rwhp on the race gas tune should help it mph above 145.
I am really looking forward to putting it on a real track and getting some official numbers.
I agree, it should be around mid 9's.
On the pump/meth tune I'd be pleased with 9.5-9.7 at 145-147.
Ultimately I'll be chasing numbers like your car and others, hoping to go lower 9's at 150 or so.
Sadly, work has me all tied up so I won't be getting to any track for at least a month, maybe longer.
I see that Atco is still doing test and tunes and street nights, so I'm going to try to schedule my next long weekend around a trip to the track.

It used to be that they didn't really push the issue, though lenient rules may be more common at a rental, which is what I may be remembering.
i agree that at a street night or even T/T, I may get the boot for a solid 9 sec run.
I could just run 1/8th miles until I'm confident of the launch and then make one Hail Mary pass.
Truth be told, if the car runs 115 or so at the 1/8th that tells me the trap speed should be 145 or better.
I'd be happy with even that 1/8th mile info.
