Cool Tsun852's .2 TTS PPF redo and much more!!!

This 911 was fully clear brad and ceramic coated by shop near client.

However, client's expectation pertaining to the fit and finish of the PPF installation, was not met.

Seeing our work on Rennlist fixing these issues, client reached out and requested ALL ppf be removed and 911 be assessed.

Client ended up opting for our Exclusive level PPF and Ceramic procedures. This level of service leaves little to compromise and focus is purely on quality and precision.

This level of installation is basically the standard pattern available to print, with minor extensions here and there. The fitment could be more precise, but I've seen worse.

Typical 3-piece mirror, but fitment slightly off. We offer this installation at our basic, Essential, level, but the accuracy of seams joining are more tight

Here are a couple time-lapse of the removal:

Dis-assembly begins for paint correction and ppf installation

Paint correction process

We begin by taking various paint thickness measurements to understand the paint better

We then looking for what defects are to be removed. This 991 mainly had surface scratches

As you can see, all these blemishes were simply covered with PPF

Follow our progress as this TTS is transformed and GP Certified

The level of attention to detail is unmatched IMO, can't wait to see the finished product. How long is the turn around time for something like this?

turnaround time really depends on scope of project. Clients can check off ceramic coating, paint correction, tinting, audio upgrades, and much more that slides the time table

Best thing to do is to schedule a phone, or in-person, consultation 👍

OMG, the initial job was just horrid! The redo work looks excellent!! Is there any truth in your experience that Suntek is better for clarity on dark colors and Xpel Ultimate is better on light colors? I was told this by several installers and wanted your opinion if possible... thanks in advance....

Great to see you posting this type of work Moe.

I didn’t know that you could take of the rear valance without taking the rear bumper off first. Can this be done on the 991.1 as well? If so would you mind sharing how to do this?

Thanks.

My pleasure...it's the behind-the-scenes of our process and I know many enjoy it

Bumper DOES indeed need to be removed for the lower valance to come off...we just put bumper back on for polishing with rest of the car
