For the record, the 997.2 is in mint condition except the alloys needs to be polished up and some correction work to be done (CHF 2’000 = USD 2’000) and a CHF 3’500 service coming up in 22 days so I got a pretty good deal from them taken all into account. I did get a tiny discount as a good will...

So good bye to the 997 forum and now you’re stuck with me in here instead...

I will followup with photos when I get the car.

Thank you all so much for your comments and first hand ownership feedback - this is exactly what I needed... Take care
Congrats! I bought a low mile 2014 Turbo S just over a year ago. I don't see myself driving anything else. Amazing car.

I've changed my mind, have to agree. I dont think i would have had the will power to walk for $1K - that is all. The Turbo S there is a smidge more than it would be here. But seems like your getting a decent trade - 48K.

congrats for the new car. I’m also from Switzerland -Geneva -and have a 991.1 TTS. Also had a bit of concern for the ceramic brake although mine was only 45 000 km (28k miles) when I bought it last September and only it about 6000 km per year.
heard the you can however send them to Germany (rebrake.de) to get them refurbished for “only” about 1500 euros per corner if they were to wear out ... gave me some peace of mind 😂
