The rear engine makes our cars more susceptible to wheelies which is not ideal. And i remember watching a video of that run and i think he damaged something with the powertrain. Hawaii has a ton of ultra quick classic VW bugs. I used to watch them at the old drag strip pulling wheelies all day

Car is in Bahrain built for Kanoo, it is a 4.2 Ltr Syvecs, similar build to 8SecDD here in our forum with some more twists. That dragstrip is probably the stickiest in the world, you literally loose your shoes walking on it. Same owner has a faster 997GT2 also built by Emre.

As long as the tuning is on point, ie no detonation, the engine only has to survive 8-10 seconds at full load, so as long as there is some good integrity in the cylinder liners, that shouldn't be a problem.
I think a more substantial risk would be blowing the heads off of the block, eating half shafts and grenading the PDK...
