So the guys at getporscheparts.com sent me some decals. I used the "s" in two of them to do this.

BAM!

That looks pretty nice. I actually ordered one from unique carbon (i think they’re called), but i didnt know it was custom made and would take over a month to deliver so i had to cancel and just ordered the rubber ones off amazon. Might get this in the future though. I wish the background could be white though with black letters since i have the black letters on my car.

By the way, do you also have dash cams or just radar?

I have radar and laser countermeasures. What you see is ALP laser heads.

Sorry, that’s what I meant. I was looking at the escort 360 max CI but contemplated if it was worth the few thousand dollars.

Neil do you like the ALP system.? Do you think it's worth the $'s? I'm considering.

My preference is with the ALP jammer system and a windshield mounted Radenso ProM.
ALP & Radenso tech support/upgrades etc is the best...I've seen plenty of issues with the Escort jammers and detectors...plenty

Each to their own but I have 4 ALP systems that work flawless and...2 Radenso ProM, 1 Uniden R7, 1 UnidenR3 and a dusty V1...
The TS has 2 RX and one TX head front and 1 RX / 1TX head rear...I have not yet been trap exposed although have shut down numerous photo laser encounters as they are plentiful here.
Custom install with custom made head pods by Darcy at Audio FX,...who also installed the Rennline grills for me...awesome guy

My understanding is that the ALP is the best in the business. Again I’ve never really had it go off so I have to go by the reviews and what other people say here on the forum in it’s praise.

For radar detector I have mostly relied on Escort. I have to say I really do like the arrows of the newer units. In this car however I do have the 9500 unit built in. In the past I have contemplated putting in the updated unit with the arrows but the installer I am friendly with has talked me out of it multiple times. He seems to think that the 9500 is very good and I should leave it as is.

In my TTS the 9500 Escort, I have recently turned off the k band which has made the detector much quieter. Now it never goes off unless there is radar present. It does not false. Still I wouldn’t mind the arrows.

in my BMW I have the escort max 360. I think it is a very Good detector. Once it learns your surroundings and the false alerts it is very quiet and very accurate. I have been toying with getting the max 360 C and just keeping it in my TTS. If I use it in the Porsche I can always just turn off the 9500. I was waiting for the Uniden R 7 to come out and I was quite excited. I went out and bought it the first day. I drove around with it and was disappointed with his performance. It has no filter for BSM. Also they have not updated the software to learn on its own to false alerts. I know this is supposed to be coming. they have updated the software to not false as much.
But right now I am just waiting to see what happens and I’m going to live with my current systems.

It's always interesting to hear others take on different products...I did hear one of Escorts detector would go to sleep alert wise...although it looked like it was on and working it would not alert...anyways...the R7 still needs work...and the Pro M plus is it alerts to MRCD which we see plenty of here...keep us posted Neil as to your take on the Escort

Cops in NJ can pull you over just because your license plate frame covers the letters on the plate on the bottom...just so you know.

I have heard that. I am friends with at least 12 officers in my town. None have said anything about it to me. I don’t have a front plate on either of my cars. I know I could get a citation. It would not be a moving violation.

I guess for now I am taking my chances.
