Installed a front and rear facing dash cam. I've been watching a lot of YouTube vids about car collisions and the litigation from those accidents. With all the crazy drivers around, I decided to have some ammo to protect myself just in case. And, ... I want to be able to record some cool drives like @Big Swole
@RadarP3C what brand/model did you choose? I've been thinking about getting a dash cam for a while, but haven't gotten around to it.
I went with a Cobra SC 400D (the D model has the addition of a rear camera included) after some online researching. This was highly rated and many times was rated #1 by many of the auto and electronic websites that reviewed dash cams.
Been neglecting it somewhat.... Convinced that it's now a foul weather car.... Making it jealous by buying all these fancy convert to rwd parts for the 996...

This was highly rated and many times was rated #1 by many of the auto and electronic websites that reviewed dash cams. I also bought Cobra's OBD-ll connector that plugs into the car's OBD-ll receptacle ($39.00) to keep all the wires hidden. Set up was easy. It doesn't hold your hand while setting up, but it was/is easy to navigate.
