Radar Detector Opinions
First let me start by saying i have had an Escort 9500 IX for several years. I love it, it has a learn capability so it does not give a lot of false alerts, and good radar distance sensitivity, red light camera locations, etc.....
I’m looking to update to a new detector that is mobile and I can move to my other vehicle so I’m not interested for now to have it wired in. I have seen reviews on the Escort Max 360, 360C, Redline EX, I am an Escort fan not interested in a Velentine 1. I have also been looking at the Unidentifiable R3 which seems to test very high.
Anyone here have a detector they like or any of the above you have any feedback on would be greatly appreciated. I prefer to stay with Escort butI am open.

I have/had nearly every type of detector/laser jammer (s) over the years..built ins and windshield..
that said I currently have 3 9500ix from when they were the rave and I'm slowly changing them out ..I don't run any 9500ix's myself but Wife/daughters (2) do... I just swapped out two for a Uniden r3 and Radenso XP since I got the new Radenso Pro-M
I currently have along with my built in's (Bel) the following
-V1 (old)..the king is dead..still works but so chatty now with BSM and no I'm not interested in updating or using Waze
-Uniden R3 (6 months)...great..talk is a new firmware update soon coming with MRCD detection
-Radenso XP (6 months)..great but Pro-M better
-Radenso Pro-M..I just got it ...awesome and has MRCD which we have plenty here
Bottom line get the Radenso Pro-M....high on recent tech...very quite,,very sensitive and small....
Just my .02...Uniden a strong consideration for second choice

I have the Escort 360 Max CI. On the surface it appears great. I have had Escorts in the past. I just don't have enough miles just yet to give you a full review. If it works as advertised it should be all that I'll ever need.

I have both the main protagonists in this space:
1) On my Porsche I have the ALP Laser Jammer with the NetRadar add ons.
2) On my Mercedes I have the Escort CI360 (which has both laser jamming and radar)
I believe the Escort is the much better product. The NetRadar is an amateur product which in my opinion seems unfinished and has many flaws. I recommend the latest Escort.

Pulled the trigger on the R3 today. Was torn between the R3 and the Radenso Pro M but just to much good data on the R3.
Dissappointed that Escort is not up to the task and customer service seems to have gone down the tubes. Valentine 1 is just too dated arrows and all, does not have the distance detection that the R3 and Pro M have.
Justt a little more insurance as Pcars seem to be a target on the expressways. I drive backroads mostly daily but need a little more protection at times. I am not a careless driver or a drag racer at every red light but I do feel if given the choice on who to ticket the Leo’s choose the 911 over the Camry.

R3 is a very good choice..I doubt you have MRCD to deal with in your area and that would be the main reason I would have considered...also the filtering on the Pro=M seems very good but the R3 is no slouch either...it will serve you well and awe you with it's range..and the price is a real deal...good luck

On my 997.2 TTS I had the Escort 9500ci, but I can tell you that the KA range was not good at all, my outdated V1 had better range...when I traded in for the 991.1 TTS, I left the Escort installed so ended up using the V1’s for the past 1yr. A month ago I finally pulled the trigger on an R3, can’t say enough good things about the radar and Uniden’s customer service, happy camper here!

Got my R3 yesterday. Running on the windshield till the Blendmount comes in Friday. I really like the R3. A lot of options for set up and it is very light and compact. If it does what the testing says it can do I will consider this a good buy.

I know the ownership group of Radenso Radar company personally, and the CEO was out in California a few weeks ago.
- Myself, the CEO, and a tech from GMG installed the new RC M system + the laser defense kit on my 2015 M5.. it's amazing, and I can't believe how small the control module is (it's also magnetic so can be taken off, and put in a cup holder, etc) - and how effective this system is + all the features that it has on it... https://radenso.com
I haven't been up to date on radar technology to know what others are doing, but the reviews on how well Radenso systems work is the truth
