If LO is too much of a gamble then get carmine red. Beautiful color, not bold and in your face but not boring like so many of the "safe" colors.

I'm guessing it will narrow your resale population because not everyone wants that kind of attention when they're out and about, and you will get a lot of attention with Lava Orange. It can also cause problems while you are driving when teenagers and young adults zoom up on your tail to take pics of it to post on their social media accounts. IIRC, a teenager crashed into a Speciale not so long ago while trying to take pics of it on the highway.

That being said, I think the color looks awesome...

Color won't kill resale. There's always someone out there who wants a lava turbo. Only thing that will truly kill resale is when the 992 turbo comes out.

I had no issues selling my LO C2 when the time came.

I love the color, second to agate grey...

There was an interesting article I read (can't find it now..) it researched colour and impact on price

Surprisingly it said that unusual colours (yellow, orange etc) seemed to increase resale values especially in sports cars

Theory was that there were enough people interested in the colours but few actually made so prices tended to be up.

So enjoy your lava orange!!

I am all for the Lava Orange, as I am between that and Chalk for my turbo. I am praying to get a Lava Orange GT3 today, but likely out of my price range.
Either way, Lava Orange is gorgeous.
