Boxster Spyder or 991.1 GT3 - If you could only have 1

Easy. 991.2 GT3 manual.
I have a 991.1 GT3 and for awhile also had a GT4. Both great cars and GT4 certainly more daily drivable (softer suspension, quieter/smoother around town) of the two. But it just didn't give m anywhere near the same feeling of specialness when I drove it as the GT3.
But still want manual for the the engagement when driving on street, track times be damned.
I also note that 911 is roomier and more luxurious feeing than Boxster/Cayman.

Sounds like you're a MT guy. Get a .2GT3 with MT. Case closed.

I own neither but would recommend the spyder. the boxster platform is simply better and eith the lower hp, you can acyuslly beat on it on the street. more fun all around

I love my Syder. Its a 987 as opposed to the 981. 981 is a step on in power and performance but 987 is not a slouch either and its more raw than the 981.
Very few 987 or 981 Spyders avaiable for sale. A nice 987 Spyder will run in the high $50K to low $60K.
They are lookers too and very unique. Great driver for a weekend drive and fun with the top off.
Here's mine.

Wow - This collection of input is exactly what it sounds like in my head. We'll see how this plays out. Maybe it's just not possible to get to that one car that does everything well enough to become that car you just keep. You can see from my signature that's an issue for me.

Three Wheelin'
what about a 991.2 GT3 - will provide some more entertainment with 3 pedals.
or hold out for the next gen GT4 or next Spyder....keep GT3 and trade for int of these...should be a wash in terms of $$
