Having viewed the old movie "Midnight Express," I can't summon the interest of visiting Turkey.

Don't be chicken and visit Turkey, this place is fantastic, magical.

Super quick drone flight video I took to see if I would get shot down, I'll do some longer and less jerky ones this week but it gives the idea

Freakin' hilarious

I do remember one of the video reviewers mentioning that sheet metal / additional strengthening was added due to crash standards in some markets, but I can't remember which video.

I wish Porsche would release more detail around things like this. It took us all months to work out that the GT4 had cast vs. forged wheels...

Spoke to tour guide today... 95% drop in tourism.. there was almost no one. No lines to enter anywhere, no tourists taking pictures... just nice peaceful Turkish families walking around as if they owned the country.

Decent police presence... I simply didn't have the nuts to launch my drone among them.. going to see if I can get some shots from hotel roof deck.

Sorry for the OT: .. back on track talking about sitting in other people's cars.

those rolled up sweets look amazing, but sadly, can't imagine visiting there either given the political climate and the security concerns.

Here's hoping that someday we can rid the world of both the authoritarian regimes and the terrorists that seem to go hand in hand with them so that we can all safely and happily partake in these cultural wonders.

I think you should look into the political and religious situation first before you decide to visit ...
