This makes it possible to platform the seats across multiple vehicles, and makes the seats a bit cheaper for Porsche since they eliminate a few SKUs. Although I prefer to have the model embroidered in the headrest, the crest is OK too.

Thanks for posting, was just there a few weeks ago and missed the change over to the new display of 991.2 GT3 and Pano Wagon by one day!

Here they are moving the 'old junk' out of the way to get ready of the new stuff!

That offset strip reminds me of what Alpina has done for the past three decades...

I did not notice the front spoiler/lip change till you mentioned it, now it's all I see. The rear air intakes would look great in carbon (along with the wing ends). Can't wait to get my hands on one!

Thanks for the pics and write-up Sean. I am really liking the .2. And looking forward to seeing the wagon in person. Love the pics, just want to see it in the flesh. Already working on the strategy to get Julie out of the Cayenne to make room for a wagon. May be a tough sell though, she loves the Cayenne.

Did the GT3 have black satin wheels or platinum? I initial thought they were black but a closer look seem to indicate platinum.

Thank you Sean for the pics and your honest opinions. Hopefully this time next year I can say, "I sat in my .2gt3".

I do not know if I necessarily agree. I think the wheels with the red accent may be too much. A little juvenile in my opinion but to each their own- still up in the air but I think will only work with GR exterior

I have a CR GT4 with PCCBs and it looks freakin awesome. My only concern is there are so many black accents on this car that I thought it would look to busy but he answered what I needed to know

Sean, how would you compare the rear space to that of a Cayenne? (Trunk).

Thanks!

One other thing I found interesting was that they have eliminated the hydraulic lifters for the rear engine cover. Instead, as you open it, there is a latch that clicks loudly and holds the engine cover open. There is a small release mechanism one would engage to close it.

They claimed its for for weight reduction, but sometimes I wonder if they hide cost reduction behind the weight reduction veil. How many ounces does a hydraulic lifter weigh? But i guess the weight reduction is the sum of many parts.
