Never had the connections to drive a 993 RS. NGT though… I was able to putz about with one at Autobahn not long ago. Afterward, all I could say was, “Berry Nice.”
Looked at the one Doug had a while back owned by Piech in ruby. Either a Cup or NGT in 964 form for me. Bid on two with BAT not long ago. One day I suppose…. Can’t say I’d really want 993 from Weissach having done mine up with modern switchgear.
anyway, fortunate you guy you are to have tasted most of Porsche’s fruit.
NGT is a romantic notion
you know like having 3 wives.... ultimately not good.
30 min in NGT, you want to get the hell out..
she looks hawt, don't marry her.
Was at Laguna Seca on Saturday to watch some AHRMA Vintage Road Racing and Vintage Motocross.
Stayed the night in Monterey at Casa Munras on Munras Avenue and can whole-heartedly recommend it.
Far enough off the main drag to be quiet and secure at night, but just a few minute walk from all of the night life.
Had dinner at Alvarado Street Brewing, before having a relaxing nightcap at a Peet's Coffee patio that is shared with Fieldworks Brewing.

Nice. Crowds were less at a very unique and diverse event. That hotel isn’t bad. Food at the adjacent restaurant could be better. Try Montrio next time in town.
fieldworks is cool. Interesting atmosphere at times. Post No Bills will have a World Selection.

Genius. The stiffer and crazier they are, the more I like for the intended purpose. Much like the AC Cobra and replicas. Bonkers for the power (too much really to have fun except if your driving Road America). I guess that’s why most NGT’s and Legal Cups have generally low miles…. Same with the Cobra’s having 10times less mi. Comfort is for the Tdi or when Wifey lets me drive the Cayenne.
I’m young, so I can be coaxed into driving the strippers faster so they’re more comfortable. Otherwise they’re harsh and a grumble to both driver and passenger alike.
can’t have the pie and eat it as well sometimes I suppose
