chris 964 is still WIP, he drove his 89
u need an old school stinky car now
should have another drive around xmas; u come up with ur air cooled! everyone has gt3/rs. getting boring
Yes I do need stinky car. Just need to sort suspension for me to fully commit. And you’re absolutely correct re newer comfy quasi race car fast GT cars. I’m a slow learner but after both 991 GT3 and RS, I know the cars are too refined and fast for me to thoroughly enjoy on the street. And then they’re too soft and docile for track-use.
I had a blast locking up almost rear ending your ‘72 when deer came to play with us and then lurching backwards in R at green light thinking I was in 1st. And rowing gears just because I could. Christmas may be a touch early but soon buddy.
What a drive! Thanks all for hosting.
The bacon waffles were worth the 800 miles of towing for a 4 hr drive, “the tour”, and the good company :-)
You need to get back out on the track man since you've been lagging so much this year. Btw, we should do a short little OC canyon run this weekend...bring that old antique of yours. haha
Your car back in action?
Mooty great host (roads up north nicer than what we have down here) and purveyor of salt and sweets. Lol.
No, the 964 is still in process, I’m kind of not pushing too hard as well, i don’t have any place to park it! Lol
RS is getting a PS line fixed that was seeping.
So 89 it was! I love driving this car, but damn, it’s a WORKOUT! This is why it’s more my cruiser and the 964 is more the hot rod.

I should have left the 89 up here. Maybe I just need to buy another one and keep it up north. Long hood???

Nothing like a G series with no cat and a chip to stink things up! Hahaha
When my 964 is all done you’ll drive it and see what a proper one feels like. Mooty’s is super nice too. Mine will be a bit more ‘raw’ but fully steerable with AC and a heater.

I think I'll have to do a fast BEFORE & AFTER to indulge with such tasty carbs. haha
