Stig, that's awesome.
I used a set of CK45c's in OG Pink today, laced to ENVE 4.5's today and didn't pedal a few times to hear the NOISSEEE. I upgraded my LWs sets to 54T star ratchets, they sound good. GOKISO Hubs sound good too.

I have a few in SF, probably ride a steel bike... I want to be comfortable leading you all to the hills and chatting off the back during the climbs 🤣

but I had ChrisF over.. he drove some old sh8t car, 1970 with 3.2 transplant... or was it 3.0 I can't remember.
I think I created another addict.

MOOTY has something to share:
in my decades of buying selling 100’s of cars and in my four different careers, I have met all type of ppl. everyone talks a good game, bc if u can’t talk a good game u won’t last long. but only a handful and walk the walk.
i’m rarely, if ever, impressed with anything. i’m jaded, pissy, demanding and a general hard ***. this is what happens when u are over the hill.
there are a whole bunch of crummy sales ppl and fkd up dealers (and i’m not talking about ADM. i’m ok with that; it’s business not charity.... but lacking integrity is not ok). and most dealers fall in this category; this is a failing grade aka “F”
some dealers are decent. but if one’s goal is just being decent and aiming for “C”; may God help u, and aspire to a higher target.
few are truly “A”.
no, that doesn’t mean they provided me with allocation or did not charge me ADM. a GREAT shop / transaction is illustrated by integrity. sometimes with the best of intentions, **** still hits the fans and stuff go sideways. most often, ppl start pointing fingers, finding scapegoats, making up excuses, cover their behinds....
very occasionally, a guy steps up and say “the buck stops here, I will deal with it and try to come to an equitable solution”
well today jonathon hull of merit partners did just that. the actual transaction doesn’t matter, but how he stepped up and mopped up the mess was refreshing. I don’t think he will make money on the transaction maybe even take a loss. but he’s got a customer and a friend for life. and i’m sure he will never have insomnia at night wondering if he did the right thing.
this is not a paid advertisement. I don’t think merit partners can afford my fees. but hey if they have a car I like..... that’s where I will send the money.

Good to hear the endorsements Mooty. Not enough good dealers out there. Good to hear a story of a good one. I follow them on IG and they seem to know what they are doing and they believe in full disclosure, which I appreciate.

Dropped off a bike at Chris and did a quick ride with Tal and Chris in Marin. Then I ate a Burrito that must have weighted a pound !

Lionel - you're being kind. Probably closer to 2.5lbs
Did tacos post ride instead.
Cars covered in dirt and dust so washed them...then drove them. I know we are on a GT3 board/thread but damn, the GTS is good.
