$12. The doily under the au jus is a nice touch.

There's enough food there for 2 meals.

The best I can say is that it was nice. Had a good atmosphere but certainly not worth 2 stars IMO. In the main, I generally think that the standard of 1 and 2 star restaurants in the US is below the same level in Europe. Where NYC, and the US generally, excels for me is in places like Charlie Bird. Great neighbourhood restaurants. Indeed, I have concluded that I would rather eat in places like this in NYC than almost any 1 or 2 star joint.

Had a sushi session today as well.
The iwashi (sardine) was very good.
As was the uni (without quail egg).

I have a full weekend of car fun and food planned. Cars and coffee at fabspeed with my new car friend I found on RL from a post who is looking for a 944 (he is 20 so that’s where his budget is so if anyone knows a MT available for a good price near philly hit me up). Maybe I can get him to go for a 914 as the gentleman with the 3.2 914 I posted above is meeting us at fabspeed and I know my new friend has not seen a 914 up close. Then scrapple and eggs sandwich for lunch, probably with a sides of bacon and maybe some potatoes at Joe’s place in Wayne. Then we will do some wrenching on the NAS defender 110 and I have a friend who has an 04 Mini Cooper S 6 speed needing some love so I will get that sorted as she plans to bring it by. Then I will grill up some ribeyes and make some homemade roasted potato salad (with bacon of course) for dinner. Also celebrating a successful rebuild of my 91 Jeep YJ’s computer for $10 (the thread on Jeepforums is called brain surgery but it is not that hard compared to Range Rover BECMs although I did scorch my finger a bit on the soldering iron) and replacing 10ft of soil pipe in my basement which saved me $1177 which I plan to add to the $290 I saved on the Jeep computer and spend that all on car parts. 😇
