That was a pretty harsh ending.

How is it that everyone has become so hyper sensitive these days. Where are the real men?? Has it spread to 50+ avg age of the Rennlist crowd?

Everyone is so easily offended. Let's just say "we're all winners" no losers and make everyone feel special like they teach in schools these days. When real losing or disappointment comes up in life, many people can't cope these days or deal with reality.

+1

I gotta say I'm a bit surprised how big of a deal his comment has become. The thing is, I can go look at a whole bunch of threads here on Rennlist and see people make all sorts of negative comments about Lamborghini owners, Ferrari owners, dealerships, Porsche, color choices, mark-ups, McLaren, Schmee, you name it. Heck, look at all the negative arguing over ring times between a Lamborghini and a 918 right now. I guess my point is, whether he's was joking or not, these types of comments are a dime a dozen on Rennlist these days. Why is this one such a big deal?

It's only rude because it's true.

It's a subjective review. Grow a set

Calling someone a name like idiot in U.K. Is not a sensitive issue like it is in US... guy culture is paradoxically tougher acting but also much more delicate here than anywhere else

Gravs 05-11-2017 05:05 AM

I can see both points of view on this one. Shall we all agree to disagree?

Its a term of endearment between mates :)... We are all idiots ! Just some more then others !

Out of interest, there are 2 x R here in Aus listed at $850K ea and not moving. A new .2GT3 with a full suite of options , potentially PTS and some CXX will set you back $430K. Aus. So still roughly double.

I took Jethros comment to say that at 500K its not worth double. But that said... any R owners willing to trade their R for two x gt3.2 ??

 My sentiment exactly.

I liked the video. I wish more journalists would speak more from the heart.

When he did the R review last year, this new GT3 did not exist, so there was no reference for comparison. The criticism he has for the R and the last GT3 was relative to this new GT3.
