I think for those who must have an RS manual, I guess it makes sense that they wait till Geneva in March to make sure Porsche wont buy it again..
I'm pretty sure they wont just like the GT2RS.

GT2RS 6 speed OMG....

Wow - spent today reading every page of this build!

As a GT4 owner, I'd be interested to know from you having owned one alongside the RS - what would you do to a GT4 to get close to the driving experience with the RS?

^ i am not the OP but i have GT4 and 991RS. there is absolute nothing you can do to a GT4 to make it drive like RS. the engine placement makes they dynamically very different. both are wonderful but very different.

I get that - it won't drive like an RS, of course but are there any improvements to be made from stock to the GT4 given you drive both cars?

i drove the big engine blue cayman and the big engien white cayman that are both in CA.
way better than regular cayman version (albeit these are 987 chassis) with HUGE improvement, but they do not drive like Gt3 and they shouldn't. they should and need to drive like a grown up GT4/cayman

Coming soon man, appreciate you still being interested.

Hey Rennlist family, sorry for the disappearing act, between my newborn baby boy and actually getting my butt back to work after playing with cars for all those months I kinda put all the car business on the back burner for a min. I had a whole bunch of people interested in shooting the car for magazines one of which it made. The cover of Total 911 which was awesome and was also asked by a couple of car journalists (no names&#128556 who wanted to do video reviews of the car to not post videos of the vehicle until they got their hands on it. They kind of dragged me along for months promising to come shoot the car etc.... I Got irritated with the whole ordeal and the only reason I stayed patient was that I wanted to do the car justice and get some sort of pro driver behind the wheel and let them do what they do! I'm not a pro driver or much of a talker and definitely not good at shooting video either which you'll see below lol so I waited. Nothing came of it and the winter caught up with me. Parked it and I'm playing the waiting game for spring. Really hard letting it sit there in the garage while old man winter takes his sweet time going away.

So nothing really new to update, the car itself is amazing. Really special is an understatement, it's so good it makes all my other RS's feel like ancient relics in comparison. I can't even explain how much of a difference there is between this and my 997.2RS. Night and day... It's that good. Would love to be able to convey that through words here but a good video review is the only way I think. Coming up once this weather breaks. A couple quick vids below, nothing fancy and please don't laugh, I was holding my cell in one hand trying to steer and shift with the other. Kind of silly looking but it might give you an idea of how freely this car revs with the lightened flywheel and the noise this thing makes which is absolutely nuts!! Best sounding car I've owned and next to a Carrera GT the best I've personally ever heard.
Again sorry all for not posting something sooner.

RJ, congrats on your new born. You made Top Gear. Have a look under the paragraph "It will only feature an automatic gearbox"

Fantastic, RJ!!! Thanks for posting! No need for edited videos etc, this format is just fine!

One question: What's the warning light (?) in the rev counter?
