I don't think it will. Fairly certain it wont actually. Not a huge case for it.

3) My RS has better visibility then my .1 GT3 did because on the GT3 the wing was lower and made it hard to see. The .2 will be further back so will make it even harder to see through the rear view mirror.
4) Intakes keep engine cooler so they actually provide a valuable function. Also makes the car wider in the back end which is always a good thing.
5) A very easy handle to use and weight savings, so again provides a function.
6) Weight is not the same, RS is mostly carbon fiber with a magnesium roof to keep center of gravity down, GT3 will be mostly aluminum with no magnesium roof.
7) Straight line speed?? You are talking about 2 or 3 miles per hour at over 190 MPH. I don't know any tracks where I am able to hit those kind of top speeds, and if you are driving those speeds on the public roads well eventually that will be one less GT3 on the road. Also the wing makes it more stable over 90mph keeping the car planted so if you are worried about straight line the RS wing is better for that as well.

Going to add one last thing being a previous owner of .1GT3 and a current owner of a .1RS.

When i owned the GT3 I really did not have a lot of people ask me about my car.

Rarely did someone come up to me and say, nice car man, unless it happened to be another Porsche person who actually knew what he was looking at.

Most people thought it was just another 911 and did not even take a second look at it in many cases.

The RS a whole different story... The day i bought it I was getting thumbs up on the freeway, every gas station I go to people ask me if they can take pictures of the car, and overall makes you feel good about your purchase which is a nice thing when you spend your hard earned money on such a beautiful car.

When i go to a shop to get work done on my car, they push the GT3's out of the way to work on my RS right away just so they can say they worked on a RS, then take professional pictures to add to their website.

Now don't get me wrong, I also did love my GT3, but an RS is an RS.
Your rs is very good looking. Let me start with that

In Germany we don't have dealer markups

weight is about the same as the rs has a wide body and bigger wheels I think it's 10 kg lighter officially and that's only because it comes with buckets as standard.

Top speed difference was 3 mph with a car that had 25bhp less.its now a bit more
I drive over 300 kmh all the time. Again Germany 😬 and your feel the drag of the wing even in the gt3

Attention I get wax too much with the gt3 already
I want less not more

It's interesting ....I always found Porsche's to be understated (visually) when compared to it's relevant counterparts from Italy or UK..

When you go to a C&C/Car show/Charity event in my city, most people don't even give a GT3 or RS a second look as their attention is usually drawn towards the more outlandish Lambo/Ferrari/MAC... and I actually like that..
While the gear heads and Porschephiles may know otherwise, to the normal person it's just another 911..
Seeing a big wing on a car nowadays is normal with all the tuner/mod junkies going crazy with their JDM/EDM imports..

So true.. something about that design punches way way above its weight.

I get a surprising amount of attention with the GR GT3. Probably the color, bodykit and wing. Definitely more pleasant interactions with more cognoscenti but some strangers just admire a red Porsche. Thankfully way less questions such as "How much does it cost?".

Strangers like to snap cameraphone pics and tailgate in the California, 458 Spider and especially the Verde Mantis Huracan. Occasionally irritating and sometimes disconcerting.

Lets do a real life taste test.

Let's put a 991GT3RS and a .2GT3 at a car show (Pick your color) and see which garners more raves.

I know which one my money's on.

I do love both but just say'n

Agree, but...
That could be a reason why some may prefer to drive the .2 GT3.

^^This may be true, but our local show has 2 991 GT3's (one is mine) 2 GT4's (again one is mine) and one 991 GT3RS, but the amount of attention, stares, pictures, comments that any of these Porsche GT cars get compared to my 458 (or ANY lambo or Macca) is negligible

Most people just see our cars as another 911....ignorance is bliss, I guess

The only attention I like is my own. If I was 30 years younger I might like the RS attention but not now says this grandfather.

agreed....to non car guys, a 911 is a 911....

I can put my RS next to FGT which is a decade old, and it might as well be a smart car.

(...and I hate the boy racer wing on it.......would prefer active aero )

Can anyone imagine what the .2RS is going to do - that will be the total value play if you can get it at MSRP.
