PTS worth it for .2 GT3?

This is actually a pretty light metallic grey as far as things are concerned and while I do like it, and specced for my mothers 2015 C4s, it doesnt have a certain "boldness" to it that would be particularly well suited to a badass GT car. Even daytona grey from audi or volcano grey from porsche has that pop I'm talking about. The PTS grey colors I mentioned have that certain "pop/specialness" to them that I find lacking in Agate (it could be because of the slightly brownish base of agate vs a deep or sharper blue/grey hue that volcano or daytona has). The deeper grey PTS cars also seem to have a pretty wide fanbase and even when they overpopulate a little, almost always have solid reception on resale. A few years ago when certain other greys (even meteor) were available, I may not be telling you to spend more on a similar color, but of what's available today, that's about as solid as it gets. Obviously this is 99 percent subjective, so many will have different feelings...and thats totally great!

Order the colour that really wows you. Don't worry about resale down the road b/c as a few have already stated, a colour which is hot today, might not be 10 - 15 years from now. Congrats on your allocation, more so if you get PTS.

If you're thinking resale, you need to do a PTS color that doesn't resemble a color thats immediately available, and that not too many people have done as it's become trendy. Voodoo blue got rather popular over the 991 range, but will still probably be worth a little bit more at the end of the day. And now because of Chalk, I'm thinking fashion may take a little bit of a hit because in the day they are pretty similar. Otherwise, it's worth it if you want to wait for the extra time (varies greatly depending) and really want to find something unique (and also possibly pair it with interior CXX leathers and stitching).
If I was PTS ordering for 991.2 GT3...I'd probably be looking at Slate grey, Grey/black or grigio telesto...there aren't any dark greys available for these cars anymore and they continue to be really hot.

Personally, I would gladly pay the premium for PTS. TonyMission is absolutely right about hitting the lottery. If you can get it, take it. Its a special opportunity. Obviously, if you love GR or Chalk you are all set, but PTS gives you the opportunity to have a very unique build. You will most certainly improve your resale if you choose wisely, at least in the short-term. With Chalk being a premium color already, PTS is not that much more. Be bold! Different rules apply to GT3s. They look amazing in unique colors. If it were me, I would be torn between Riveria Blue and Mexico Blue, both highly coveted colors in the Porsche community.
