It is fun to follow some posters who have access to "high level sources" within Porsche. It is free entertainment, that's for sure. This thread is one of the few with meaningful information, and if Chaosoul does not have answer, he simply states that he does not know the answer.

After the 911R, and before the 911T comes out, they have to come out with the 911S first, then 911U will come later, followed by V, W, X, Y, Z...

i can understand a new series
as the upcoming 99x
to be a secret to avoid any competitors
counter reacting
but guys!
a facelifted .2RS or a car like GT2RS few months away from
its release would mean nothing for the competitors(which already know by far)
so the old way of "accidentally" leaked details
was much better instead of the artificially inflating mass market expections
until an inevitable disappointment

So what you're saying is that I should get on the list for the 911Z!!! The Omega?

Not sure if it is the same thing as the 911T mentioned before, but is there a 912 coming with the 4 cyl 718 engine? I was browsing the Stuttcars website and saw a mention about this. If so, will it be this generation or the new 992?

Chasoul, not a GT car question and probably unknown at this time, but...
do you know if the SportTechnos will return on the 992?

Sorry, too early for any info on 992. I do not know much info regarding it.
For future reference, Porsche will only give out accurate information, even to executives in North America and such about a year out. Anything further than that are just rumors and people's speculation. Unless someone knows some German guy directly from PAG R&D that is leaking classified information.

Will there def be .2RS or will this merge with .2GT2RS. If .2RS will it be larger than a 4.0?

I have very reliable information that starting with November allocations deviated stitching will be available. Whether this includes the stripe on the bucket seat am not certain but it would only make sense. For an example, my freeze date is June 23rd with a build date of July 21st. I am getting racing yellow for the exterior but restricted to either black/grey with platinum stitching or red/black with red stitching. Neither work for me but I am stuck. Had I ordered the car in November I might have been able to order RY stripes and stitching.
Since I turn my cars in after 12-18 months, waiting doesn't make sense to me. I may have to live with gre/black with platinum stitching and RY seat belts.
