I am not very keen on the silvery look at the back of the seats. Was even wondering if its worth replacing the back of the seat with leather which is costy

Don't know what to do on the positive side i got time to lock the order so will keep on reading every post. Its becoming a full on addiction. My wife is not liking it at all
I am curious if the LWB are the same ones that are in the GT4...which I found to be OK for comfort but a bugger to get in and out of. The buckets in my 996 GT3 were down right sensible compared to my GT4 now that I think of it.

Yes they are the same ones.

So far the poll shows 58 have chosen Miami Blue. I'm wondering how many of them have seen it in person?

They just recently admitted that they should have just went for the 4ways as the LWB's are impossible to live with for then on a daily.. LOL
I nixed the idea of LWBs after sitting in them way back when, but they look so cool that I decided to try again. Spent a while in a set in an RS and just can't understand how anyone over 145lbs can get comfortable in those seat backs. I'm by no means a big guy but those seat backs are just way too narrow for me from mid back up. They just cut into my shoulder blades and would be way uncomfortable for me to be in for any length of time. The only Porsche seats that fit me great are the 4way SS Plus.

Drove ***-out style in an old air-cooled rally-fied 993 this weekend.. cloth buckets, bags removed, lightened, braced, cambered, semi-slicked and all ***-out lost in the mountain twisties this weekend.. it reminded me of what matters... and none of it had to do with colors or options.

I am 5 10' 200lbs with broad shoulders. I find them comfortable. They look great and love the Driving position. I find myself hopping in to my Lexus and bringing the recline more straight foward which makes me laugh to myself. Do not need seat warmers because for some reason they do not need it and still cannot figure that out.

But - not for everyone. PIA to get in and out and I have mastered it but after the gym takes a little more effort. Not getting younger .

I also found the 4-ways to be great. So- if you just want cool looking seats that give a little more of a go-cart feeling and willing to sacrifice a little comfort I think for the upgrade a great value. You can always trade your LWBs to some one plus they will pay you extra cash, in addittion, so will not hurt starting with them. Wifey will prefer the sofas and as I stated- great seats for no upgrade

Recently spent some time looking at different colors at my local dealer. What struck me was that the metallic colors do a great job showing the beautiful 911 body lines. I came to a conclusion that I want a metallic color, and it had to be a lighter tone. GT silver is what I am leaning on now.

My current order is GBM. I will be changing this.

I'm going Rhodium simply because (a) no one else is, and (b) the Spyder is GT Silver. Sadly the race car is black and the 997.2 RS is Gray Black. Was hoping to have a Porsche in an actual color. Some day...
