991 GT3 RS Wrecked while at Speed Shop

Do not play with your client's toys. Ever. Period. The times I would drive a client's car to pick up or drop off before getting a toy hauler were so horribly stressful for me. I knew that even if some idiot ran into me and I had no accountability for what happened the owner would likely still be livid at me. I hope all shops see this and think strongly about how the owner would feel knowing how it was being cared for.
Reading this thread has my stomach in knots. I feel so bad for you ccapx. Your composure speaks worlds about your character.

Is it possible that this other driver (the teenager), was actually driving and Aaron was a passenger?
Find this story so bizarre. Would love to know the details how it went down. Hopefully these witnesses can shed some light onto it.

STG will get to the bottom of that. I guess ultimately it doesn't matter but obviously could be a big issue for him if he wasn't driving. BTW, anyone notice the circular rotation of the water marks from the car? I can't wait to hear the story. STG no kidding, do you think he was actually drifting the car in a parking lot?

I think the fluid on the ground is from the car? No rubber tire marks and don't believe any drifting in the lot. The tire marks are from driving the car from leaking fluid. Maybe the washer fluid from the front bumper? They look like spills not standing water.
Hit something obviously and reversed the car or turned it around.
I'm willing to bet there's a 95% chance the teenager was driving. Aaron must know a thing or two about driving cars, even though he has ZERO common sense. So ... he claims to be driving so his insurance covers the crash? If the kid is driving, he'd be even more fuc*ed than he already is. The insurance might cover $0 then.

OP - really sucks what happened.
Some of you guys on rennlist are the worst. Making assumptions w/out any facts. I would HATE to have you guys on jury. If the kid was driving - he sure as hell looks super chill - and relax in those pictures for having an accident. For all of you jumping on intangibles - stop being so dramatic.
OP is handling right. Spyerx said it best. Deal w/ your insurance and let your insurance handle the other party. I would set expectations with your insurance- let them handle the rest of the drama.

Wow - we obviously don't know the exact story behind this pic - but the way the kid is leaning against the wall nonchalant just bugs the **** out of me. I feel for you ccpax - you are displaying amazing calm.

Got the story. Will post the details later, long story short, traction control off, left turn onto a major road, back end goes, spins around across traffic, jumps a curb and hits a plumbing supply business. Owner was the driver. This guy was feet away from hurting a lot of people. Apparently there was traffic around and it was by the grace of god he didn't plow into anyone. Big thanks to the board for flushing this out. Once this resolves I will post a detailed explanation.
Left turn from 27th onto Gillum, lost control, spins across traffic, jumps curb and ends up in the side of Hodes Plumbing Supply.
