Maybe yes, maybe no. When they came out with the .1 in PDK S only, who would've ever thought they would then go back to a MT option in the .2 (realizing it's not 100% yet)? I say the same for the NA or they go with the GT3 in turbo but still offer a NA in an R type car.

How long can they keep developing an NA engine for models more limited than a GT3? Not to mention, for new platforms that are designed for new turbo engines?
Porsche are masters of parts bin models. Don't see an NA engine fitting into the mix. For the record, would love to see them around a long time. Don't like turbos.

A lot of these dealers with supposedly MSRP pricing will be changing their tune when .2 arrives. Expect quite a few to change the rules of the game. Lists or no lists. Lists don't come with a guarantee of any kind other than interest free money for a dealer. Some of these dealers probably have $100,000 - $200,000 sitting around at all times.
For someone without an established relationship and already high on a list, don't start picking out your car color unless you're willing to pay to play. Can't wait to hear all the "dealer screwed me over" stories.

If I had a .1 GT3, would probably not be quick to jump on .2
I'd rather go 991.1 RS if you needed a change.
To be honest, I'm liking the .1 GT3 aesthetics more at this point from what I see. For anyone to trade to a .2 from a .1, not sure the $$$ would justify it for me. A 991.1 GT3 is more car than 99% of the people here need. I also think the engine issues are pictured more dramatic here than they really are as a whole. I'd be happy with a 2015 or 2016 991.1 GT3. Sometimes the forum hype and need to get the latest and greatest is disconnected from reality.
Those are my personal opinions. Opinions are a dime a dozen here

One of the local dealers here, which I thought was decent size, told me they expect to get 1 car. They were more than happy to put me on their list that was about 10 deep, but they thought the chance I got a car from them was about as likely as 9 Porsche owners all having a heart attack simultaneously.

Small dealers will be lucky to get 5 cars each year. Probably 2-3.
Getting 20 cars for two model years is a very high volume dealer. Not even mid tier dealers will get that.
Those are my guesstimates from some knowledge of the past.
Dealers that move a lot of sports cars get the GT allocations, or take Panamera whales and other slow moving cars off PCNA's hands.
