Ty!
its Scuderia Southwest. First Saturday of every month. This is the Mac section, Therr are usually 500+ cars there every month. I go with some buddies- we meet up at my house and drive together.
lots of macs, Ferrari’s, Porsche’s, American muscle/classics etc. it’s a decent outing- just an excuse to go out and drive and then get together for breakfast after.

Very nice!!! We used to have a big C&C at Blackhawk in the East Bay each month that could easily top 500+ cars but unfortunately the NIMBY's joined force with the local police and the event got shutdown. Another C&C in San Fran got shutdown around the same time. Such a shame as people were happy to show their cars and meet up and there were always big crowds. It officially started at 8am but you needed to be there by 6.30am to get a prime location!! That said at a 500+ car event there were never more than about 5 Macs there at anyone time. Ferraris and lambos yes but not Mac so much.
There are lots of macs, lambos, ferraris, porsches and other exotics. You also get a large contingent of american muscle cars now as well which doesnt really interset or excite me. The people are nice, cordial and for the most part very friendly and respectful of the cars.

that sucks. I got screwed by my sales guy on PTS also. Kept telling him I wanted to get it. He had no clue what the deal was with it and by the time he told me to come in, the pts window closed.
Really terrible how unknoledgable some sales people are for such an expensive purchase.

It wasn't my sales guy on this one. Porsche said they were going to do PTS starting with November builds if you put your order in. We did that day. about 4-6 weeks later, they said no. Very frustrating. Just say no if you can't do it. I was told yesterday that there won't be any PTS GT3RS (except probably a few special people of course).

a lot of dealers thought they were playing games and it was 'not available' wink wink but really it's never been available.

Last week a friend of mine was in Mallorca with Porsche to test the 992 back to back with 570S, new Vantage, AMG GTS, M4, Audi R8. The test drivers drove laps of a handling circuit plus a road trip rotating from car to car and then providing notes to the engineers. The 570S was only 10 days old and broke down on the first day. i have a hilarious photo of 3 Porsche engineers with their heads in and under the car trying to work out what happened. Car had to be binned so missed most of the comparison testing. Of the cars left, they were rated in order, 992, AMG GTS (very close), R8, M4, Vantage, 570S.
some random comments: GTS - most emotional, 992 - too quiet, but fast, M4 - wants to slide all the time, Vantage - the nannies kick in way to early and aggressively so spoil the drive.
Also, for the 992, they all complained about the tiny gear selector with no ability to change gear anymore. They were told that the ability to change gear with the selector may reappear in the next Gt3.

I really like the 600LT but:
1. It’s base Msrp does not compete with the GT3RS. It’s substantially higher for an whats essentially an improved 570S. By the time I add some options I’m in Performonte or 488 territory.
2. Mac resale has me balking.
3. Stories of Mac unreliability and build issues like the post above.
4. Lack of dealer net work.
5. 720LT will steal its thunder.
6. Mac has a bad habit of one upping its own cars seemingly every year. Could partially explain terrible resale values.
