Jim the 720S is made to order and is totally incredible. Personally I think the separator is the ability to spec exactly the color and options you want and there are no paint to sample games.
Msrp is the price unless you are trying to get one tomorrow then it's all about available cars.

I have a question for those who have owned a McL. Have your modern Mclarens been as reliable in general as a modern 911? I know there were some electronic issues with early cars,. It really makes it more palatable, if you own a car far from the dealer to only have to worry about bringing it in once a year for a scheduled service.

In the first two weeks that I had my 570S, I put almost 2000 miles on it. I could not stop driving it. It is addictive. Like a Lotus on steroids.
Anyway, I got a check engine light that appears to be a fuel level sensor. It turned off before I got home. The next day, my local dealer sent an enclosed car carrier to come get it. (just as an aside, the way Porsche dealerships treat you....you know, like they are doing YOU a favor for answering the phone...is not the way Mclaren does it)
And they dropped off a nice Porsche Cayenne as a loaner. All in your driveway.
A lot of owners on the forum have similar issues. Thankfully, no one gets stranded, engines don't explode, nothing is big.
My only regret is the loss of the manual tranny.

Same here. Just put 300 miles on my 570gt in the last two weeks. It’s really amazing to drive, so different than a Porsche.
I had sensor and electrical issues during my first two weeks that got sorted out, I do expect more I mean they are fairly new at this production car thing.
But it its worth it....I got the gt because I loved the shape but now I wish I had bought an S, the sun comes through that moonroof thing pretty hard.

Anyone watch the Grand Prix series on amazon? It was fun and fascinating what a scramble it all is...not sure having Ron Dennis leave was such a good idea..

The last 3 seasons everyone has been blaming Honda for their failures, but now with a Renault PU in the car and STILL having issues, it seems like the problem was with Mclaren all along, and not Honda. Packaging is too tight some say.
I hope they do well though. I really like Alonso and would love to see him fighting in the front.

Can those of you who've 'tracked' the 570S had any issues with overheating?
How are the brakes on the track?
Any other info that can be shared?
TIA,
Bish
