I'll be clearer. Yes, if you were lucky enough to get an allocation early or a lucky late allocation from an MSRP dealer than yes. I am referring to market price for a car sitting on a dealers floor now.

I just looked up the 2011 GT3RS (3.8) on cars.com. There are about 14 listed with asking price ranging 160-299 K. The MSRP's of these cars had a range of 140-170 K. All these cars have been driven 5-16 K miles. That is not really bad for those who may have owned the car for 6 years and enjoyed 10-15K miles of amazing driving pleasure and then made a 30-100% ROI. If some such thing happens to the 2016 GT3RS at the end of 6-7 years, perhaps all of us who own RS's should be happy. There are really no guarantees when it comes to investments. However, there are very few investments that one can enjoy during the life of the investment and still make a decent ROI.

Bubble doesn't necessarily have to pop on remaining RS's. It's a matter of supply and demand. And this even with the big number of RS's built. At the end of the day 1500-2000 US cars is not a big number as it relates to potential high end car enthusiasts. Personally I believe there are more RS buyers out there then there are new cars available. I could be wrong but I don't see a dealer with one RS on the floor dropping trouser when they know production is stopped.

Who would want to buy a 2011 GT3RS for $200K today with 10K miles on it? Nobody. So prices don't mean anything really...

Not trying to be problematic, but I know of two dealers who sold them well above MSRP; and have also sold RS's at MSRP (one that recently had one of the floor). All completely situational, and not in stores that hold a strict policy.

My point is really a matter of depending on the means, and how one feels about paying over MSRP, you can find them at MSRP but at the same time they are readily available at markup.

If this was not a subjective matter, we wouldn't be having a thread filling up with responses right

Will there be a .2GT3RS?????
Will it be tt or NA?

Speculation will support a rise in .1GT3RS prices for now.

RS of any generation prices will always remain strong IMHO with rising MSRPs. ADM's etc...

If there is a next 3RS and it is tt the .13RS will defiinitely shoot up in value. MHO once again.

Note that some dealers who sold their RS's at MSRP did so conditionally and forced the buyer to purchase a Panamera or something else at almost full price.

IMO, as long as there's a demand for the 991 RS, prices will remain above or near MSRP. All RS cars have traditionally held their prices very well and in most cases appreciated significantly.

A few got some late allocTion surprises so a few got lucky but generally they are still $20 over and that's for high spec cars. Low spec is still more. Except mine because it's whored out, that's almost written off.
Trakcar knows. How are you going to make your TRACKCAR last four more years? Are you looking for another? Or other plans? Or maybe going to run the current TRACKCAR forever...

Only 33 payments to go before it retires from heavy track duty.
If I can I would love to keep it forever but I will get a new warranties one before the warranty expires in 33 months. Had to get a daily or I would have run out of covered miles...

The new gt2 rs or the .2 gt3 rs will probably be self driving. So better get the 16 rs, before they are all gone. lol
