Could you please give me a hand tracking those down? Are they paper only? A search on Web, Ebay and Suncoast didn't pop up anything. Are you talking about press kits specific to GT cars?

That is a very serious wing with a very serious angle… I've never seen this before. Is this an option on the 991.2? Looks very good when Retracted also

It's part of the SportDesign package of the 991.2. Will probably be on the GTS to he announced in the next week or so. GTS builds start in April.

Speaking of Gurney Flay
They tested it (or something like that...) with the gen 1 GT3, seen in this picture:

I don't get the holy grail attitude about the R. It's a parts bin car (albeit a desirable combination) that they can recreate at will and incorporate everything they've learned (about engineering and what the market wants) into GT3 or any other model.

As if it should preclude a wingless GT3 or a manual GT3 because of 900 918 buyers who mostly flipped it (or are trying to flip it) anyway...
I don't think you can characterise an R as a parts bin special, not when it has components that you do not find, at least for the moment, on any other model including the carbon fibre front guards, the 6spd gear box and LWFW.

Let s say that the 6spd gearbox is the standard 991 7spd parts bin already tested in 991.1 GT3 mule

the remainder is parts bin from 2S, GT3, RS

ouch the stripes... my bad

Not correct. The LWFW, the rear diffuser plus the rest of the under floor area, the titanium exhaust, the 6spd gear box has different ratios, the shallower front splitter and the carbon fibre front guards are all unique to the R...at least for the moment.

the gear ratios and carbon parts what a RnD

Despite a parts bin it is still a good one

i am with Porsche
the car is worth the 190k MSRP

and its one of the many 991 variants no more no specials

Yep.

Not to mention I've been around car manufacturers long enough that "all new" needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

And don't get me wrong...it's all the right parts but it's utter BS that this thing has some special provenance.

I bet that R diffuser hooks right up to the RS.

i don't have a front lift on R, and haven't had any issues at all

The rear diffuser arrived bashed, and has had more than one extra hit since then!

It's very difficult to drive around without catching the vanes on bumps or ramps. I have a new one coming under warranty (many Rs needed post-delivery replacements) but am planning to leave the old one on the car for now, as future hits seem unavoidable if you're using it.

Now this is somewhat surprising. What is the ground clearance on the lowest part of the vanes? If Porsche marketed this car as a true driver's car, they should've realized this would happen quite a bit.

Looks like it needs a read lift for speed bumps. Not sure how many of these cars would actually need that functionality?

This is 991.2 GT3 sans the Cup wing and FIA center brake light in back and tow hook up front.
