NASA is somewhat hard charging. It's also a sanctioned race body like SCCA. Very similar. Yes, 4 run groups..1 (beginner), 2 intermediate), 3 advanced pass any where with point by to 4 open passing no point by and sometimes a separate instructor group. Group 4 and instructor is open passing. Since they are a race body also it's common to get guys or teams showing up running in 4 as a test and tune opportunity or they may have a DE with a race weekend.

HOD is more laid back. Great group and organization that stresses fun as much as safety and learning. 4 groups also but it's A (novice),B (intermediate) C (advanced) and D (advance with open passing). X group (instructor). The D group in HOD is equivalent to group 3 in NASA as a general rule.

In HOD I'm checking my 6 a lot. In NASA I'm checking it a lot more.

I'm sure you would do fine in either just on enthusiasm alone!

But yeah... I was at NJMP 6 times (15-16 days) in about 3 months time last year. I really like it there.

Also, look into Track Time for Cars. Nick Yoskin runs with them all the time and they are focused on more sessions in a day than a typical DE.

I'm under the impression NASA is competitive?

Phil I trying my best to find time.......

So we also need to talk about club member only dedicated track days for NJ Motorsports members. I have dates on spreadsheet 🚗🚗

Great insight here Waxer!! Thanks!!

I'm a 'type A'. Competitive. Can do, get it done. And I really don't have an ego on track. I have NO issue pointing by... no matter what kind of car it is. Including a Miata. (For now ) I just want to have fun, be safe and improve a little bit each time.
I know have have natural talent for driving and 'feeling' what the car is doing. (also received positive feedback from instructors)
However, I'm also still very new with only about 15 days of about 3-4 sessions a day. Which is nothing. Which is why I need seat time. And not just to learn and get better, but heck.... just to ENJOY THE ACT OF DRIVING!!!

I love the color scheme you decided. Wheels also look great. Looks like it is a little ahead of delivery schedule. Most of my friends that got a late build are coming 3 weeks early. I had a build and the person that gave it to me decided at the last minute to take the car. My dealer felt bad so I will have early build on the GT3 .2

Oh wow!!!! That's messed up, bud!!! Sorry to hear about that.

Thanks for the kudos!!! I've been having so much fun just designing the livery / build..... and it's something for me to do while I wait for the car to get here.

Sorry to hear that, but big props to your dealers. Something that Park Place might do.
