In this very unusual era where 2016 GT3RS Porsches are being delivered to US shores after the beginning of 2017 I thought it would be interesting to know just how many people Have what I'm unofficially calling a 2017ish GT3RS. So I will start :

I was in for an oil change and was offered an incoming Lava Orange for a premium, had to pass because I'm still enjoying my GT3. Good build too, if anyone is interested I can get the details, hopefully it's still available.

Phil,

It looks like you are changing wheels. If so what are you going with?

I bought the BBS FIR's. Just as light as my 19" Forgelines.... and I don't have to worry about changing the specs too much. I was concerned with going from a 21" wheel to a 19".

Oh man...! I definitely would surely (and safely) try!!! I do have some natural talent but also know I have many more hours of seat time I need before I can trash talk!!

But yeah... I was at NJMP 6 times (15-16 days) in about 3 months time last year. I really like it there.

Also, look into Track Time for Cars. Nick Yoskin runs with them all the time and they are focused on more sessions in a day than a typical DE.

I'm under the impression NASA is competitive?

NASA has 4 HPDE run groups in addition to the racing groups. They are certainly a fine organization to track with.
