Default Building A RS

This is a project put my 21 year old on the job home from break. Dad is having a beer and watching. The manual is over 500 pages.

awesome! Have him take a look at this link http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/inde...-improvements/

One of the problems (nothing major) is that the instructions accidentally have you put the gears in backwards so it doesn't shift in the correct gear sequence. But it tells you how to put the gears in correctly so it shifts 1st gear to 2nd gear to 3rd gear to 4th gear. There's several other little things in there as well. The Instruction manual alone is worth the price of the kit, it really is an amazing kit! Enjoy! There's a thread here on RL about it too

It keeps my 21 year old from texting and social media. I actually snapped a photo with everyone in the house on the darn phone(:

Default Almost Done

The kit comes in 4 boxes one my son finished in over 5 hours, and 2/3 are about two hours a piece. He's on the final box, and dad is watching I could have never done this because I don't have the patience. It's good because he's off the phone texting.

The actual engine parts move you can see the pistons moving up and down pretty cool. Good distraction from all the serious car talk on prices and allocations

I got this as a gift too. I have the 'supercar' model from 2 years ago or so, it took a LONG time to build it.

Will give this one a go this week. Love LEGO.

Swiss trax has been great. I have a basic Kobalt blower to blow out any leaves etc that get on or under the Swiss trax. Easy install. I had the end (under the doors) locked down with a metal kick plate to ensure no movement and it's worked very well.

Carbon Fiber mirrors and a lot of other goodies from DB carbon. Great quality and easy to work with. I have full exterior package coming next month (for now engine lid, mirrors, rear intakes and the small piece above the exhaust - I have the front intakes/gills but haven't been around enough to oversee the install). Interior is a mix of CF and leather. Some factory (and cxx leather) some DB carbon some exclusive option.
