Spoke to a GM at a good guy dealership and here's what he told me...
They will have allocations shortly after the Geneva car show, first cars likely to arrive in Sept to the US. Car will be PDK or MT with a 4.0L engine around 500hp and NO WINGLESS option. PDK cars will be built first and then the MT cars. He said they are talking about doing a stripped lightweight 911 with 450+ HP power but it will be a turbo engine (think of it as a lightweight GTS).

i know porsche has invited some of the people who got allocation to get right next to /in the car. As i understand if you just visit the show like anybody you have to stand a few metres from the car.

^^^That is absolutely hilarious! I have put my " greasy " hands on the 911 R at the NYC auto show last year. Porsche placed it smack in the middle with people swiping their jacket's metal zippers all over the car. Women " completed the job " by rubbing their purses,rings and bracelets. Most didn't even know what the R is...
Same thing happened when they brought the 991 GT3...I was taking pics of the underbelly without issue.
