if so my manual choice is for me now becoming more and more of a nobrainer as we say, although my friends will be faster with their pdks.
but loving this huge amount of weightsave!

^There will always be someone faster. So knowing that you have to decide which transmission you will enjoy more.- and there is no right or wrong

I wouldn't put it past Porsche to artificially make PDK and manual the same weight. All it would take is not caring about weight savings for all the parts only in the manual car.

Of course wing delete might help a bit.

It's not a big enough weight difference to make a difference. PDK will still shift faster and make up for the weight gain. Manual will be slow and hopefully it's a better transmission then the 997.2 GT3, as that one always had a bad 2 -3 shift if you had the rear loaded. Needed to pause before sliding all the way into third, otherwise very crunchy.

Pull wheel off, put some playing cards in between wheel and tire, give it 4-5 coats with 15 min in between, let it cure overnight, remount.

Stick to the facts please. Nobody is arguing about which one is better, faster etc. The manual gearbox is 30 kg lighter. Fact. It doesn't insinuate anything,it's just lighter. Period.

Do you guys know if it's possible to order just the seat inserts? My brother-in-law is kind of a big shot lowrider upholstery guy and he'd do this for me for next to nothing. I'd prefer to keep my orange inserts just to have them around though.

I don't want to take this thread off topic but you can wash your wheels normally, just don't use a high pressure washer on them, just soap water and a normal hose.

Im really doubting any different colors from the .1 though.
Nordic Gold Metallic; You'll have the only one

Agree completely. .2 manual was a POS in aggressive tracking conditions. Full cup cables, solid engine mounts and numeric shifter made it barely tolerable. Here's hoping for better on the 991.2!
