Hope your 911R is in your hands soon - and look forward to hearing more from you about that car!

My friend, I gave up posting info a long time ago. It just rubs some up the wrong way. No point...
Love my RS, if they made 3 or every one of the 31k 911s, was a 91RS, would not bother me at all....have so much fun on track in my car.
Our Mate at CXX is doing my 991.2GTS Targa next week. Might pop over to see him, if I have time....

918 guys are a tiny bit full of themselves and if you don't thing that rubs everyone outside that group the wrong way you could not be more wrong.
It's not a matter of sharing info it's the manner of how it is done.
Have at each other over a car ... is just silly.

I have friends that own 918, P1, the latest V12 Lambo, etc. These friends are clearly in a very different financial stratosphere than my own.
I find them to be very nice, grounded people. None of them rub me the wrong way.
I would not generalize about any group. I'm not disputing this^ opinion/experience. No doubt it's how you feel. I could not be further outside of the 918 owner group. But I don't feel that^ way. To each their own.

^And that s another way to feel "special"
at least more sophisticated than trivials ppl
supposing to be special for a kinda limited car
and when that car is a 91.1RS the sitcom is reaaally ridicoulus
go give your egos a drive special men

I love my RS - but to be blunt since that's the new thing here.

Some clearly happily consider multiple hearsay high quality information. Whatever floats your boat. I just call BS when I see it. Apolo's example in post #405 pretty much underscores another concern on top of the layered hearsay issues.
I subscribe to the Trackcar sentiment above.

I've found the 918/911R owners information and posts quite helpful. These guys are connected at the highest level(s)
Despite amazing car collections and undoubtedly incredible wealth this group of Rennlisters IMO have been very humble and not at all pretentious.

In some cases. Yes.

unotaz thank you for insights!
waxer, i appreciate infos which you post, especially about FordGT's a couple of weeks ago. but in case of RS numbers or in case of cars you don't own/get - you have an issue somewhere sitting deep. please keep it for you, or better: pls solve it somehow.
nobody has real numbers but if the calculation (online market/offers numbers, 911/ total production numbers split on countries, etc) is made + cleaning lady stuff sums up to 5 or 6000+. it is more likely this way instead of NA VIN counting multiplied with 1,5.

Hmm, we are back to talking about cars again????!!!!???
Thought we were on dogs earlier.
But don't mind me, I am the most polarizing person there is. hell someone from McLarenLife thought I am the second coming of Charles Ponzi, but I couldn't care less about what he thinks.

Insight is one thing. Double layered hearsay is another and tantamount to cleaning lady stuff. Ooops. There I go again.

For anyone in the market, it seems D-Patrick just listed a new UV RS at MSRP.
