2500 RH drive and US. I included South Africa.
Would be interesting to know some of the big European markets. Germany, France and Switzerland? Middle East? Getting bigger and bigger.

3000 to 3500 max.
Extra production was driven mainly by U.S. demand and mark ups due to the dreaded VIP program here. Original production was slated at 2500 to end in late 2015 early 2016. Extra run was to be 100 cars for U.S. No way they put other production aside on main stream high profit models to punch out 25 times that 100 number in 9 months or so on a high ticket niche model using complex slow to produce components i.e. magnesium roofs. Also looked at engine numbers which ran consecutively from E through G. Also historically U.S is said to get roughly 40% of WW production.

the first plan was nearly 2.000 units. as 997.1 or .2.
i know from a OEM-guy (who produced 991.1GT3RS parts) Porsche doubled the numbers just a couple of weeks after Geneva 2015.
based on this 2.500 number - it will be minimum 5.000 imo.
no way they are below 4000.

Germany alone i guess are over: 1.000 units
there are around 90 Dealers http://www.legende911.de/porsche-zen...nd-pz?start=50 each dealer which i know (which are a couple) delivered around 8-25 RS.
115 RS are for sale in GER:
http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/se...AGE_UNREPAIRED
only in AUT there were around 80 units delivered. (a market were Porsche is selling only 1.300 cars p.a. incl. Panamera,Macan... official number) in Swiss around 150 i guess.

Minimum 5000 is also my sense, but unwilling to bet the ranch on that.

Doubling parts is not an indicator in my mind based on what some ex oem guy said. I give 0 credence to that kind of information for many reasons. Learned that lesson long ago. Further extra parts must be available for 10 years U.S. I am sure other countries have a like requirement.
Extrapolating from what you think some dealers delivered to the rest is also faulty imho for a number of reasons.
Extrapolating from cars for sale is not reliable either. There are 821 Shelby GT350 for sale on car gurus. So? It also appears they are still asking well over list there too on 2016 models in 2017.
U.S. has 200 dealers. Roughly 1500 RS's here.
I have also used/relied on figures provided by Loess.
My number based on my "calculations" and reasoning is 3000 to 3500 max. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I'm not just going on my "sense" of things.
You of course are free to disagree based on whatever.
Final say will be PAG published numbers.

All of my cleaning ladies say at least over 6.000x were made ....
At the beginning it was very tight to get one in Germany, but after about 9 months of production, Porsche PZs called many Customer if they still want to have one, because they increased production, many agreed and gor their car then in mid and late 2016.
About 110x to 130x are offered now in Germany in the Internet, alone in Switzerland about 35x ...

100cars Middle East alone?
Italy has been hit hard when it comes to expensive toys. Not sure how many cars was delivered in Italy and Spain? Maybe RL member "Selvetico" did I spell that right? has a rough idea?
Germany is huge. 1000 cars sounds about right
Sweden is probably at least 50 RS. France is probably around 200-300 cars?
Add it all up and 4500 doesn't sound that far off.
