Default 991.2 is 3.8 and RS.2???

No one posted from the big dealer meeting 2 weeks ago. All my contacts said two main points. GT3 is 3.8 and stick. No one knew anything about a wing delete required for manual like some mentioned.
Now onto the RS. I guess the premiums might be worth it on RS.1. No RS.2 update only. It will be a hybrid on front axle is what was mentioned if they can get the cost factor/weight for the street. I asked about 4.2 and was told absolutely not.
Both dealers confirmed same info given. Maybe the premiums on RS.1 might be worthy if its the last NA RS.

what you mean with:
1) no RS.2
2) update only"
3) already the 991.2 GT3RS or GT2RS will be already a hybrid (front axle)?

i read many phrases but no clear conclusion.

You are the only one who has consistently said 3.8L, while everybody else has been saying 4.0L for many months. Looking forward to the official reveal- hope it comes in the form of a press release well ahead of the Geneva show!

ones i take as fact - cause to many good guys told me it - and signed papers --> that another GT3RS will come.

like 997 4.0 was.
i guess it will be limited.
no idea if 4.2
no idea if N/A (but i guess so. as long it is a GT3RS, because the GT2RS will come for sure. next to it.)

and did not already said somebody official that 991.2 GT3 will get the 991.2 Cup (Base) Engine?
i remember that Whoopsy wrote some lines...
But of course it could be that they reduce the stroke of the 4.0 991.2 Cup - so both of the statements are true

How many RS's do both your dealers currently have FS on their lots?

Limited edition irrelevant because you can't get one until another economy melt down ...

If the OP info is correct (no reason to doubt, a good source) and one wanted PDK-S on the .2 (as I would).....what would be the purpose of updating from .1 ???

-Both 3.8
-Both PDK-S
-Nothing to confirm engine "issue" is fixed ?
-Loss of 9k redline
-updated looks open to personal opinion
-higher price?

It will be 4.0L period.
You will have both manual and PDK-S option.

your only valid point is loss of 9k rpm.

correct.
i couldn´t even get inline for a GT2RS

the only chance we "small Porsche guys" do have is: hoping that 991.1RS prices go further down + 991.2GT3 will be produced on more production lines + small economy melt down on top + extraordinary pricing
so that some guys are stepping back.
