I lukewarm wanted one but not enough to fight hard and so I didn't get one. If they were being produced now and without allocation issues I would have had a hard time deciding between a GT3 and the TT I ordered. No tears shed, so FWIW.

Its on my list of options now for a 2018 purchase. Its the most sensible choice, as most of the other options are near $200k......but the other cars are more exotic and do not share much of the design with a more common production car.

Worried about the engine issues though.....

Will we see a picture? Or Will (ptsrs): Will you think you could get some info?
BMW is always doing a small party when the last one of a model roll of the line.

I have a late build. Delivery in jan. Fought very hard for a PTS, turned down.

My delivery date is sitting at Feb 15ish. That has to be close to the end right? That would be pretty cool to get the last US RS.

Spyder has kept my attention for 2016, and even though prices of gt3 came down to MSRP or below, the engine issues and PDK made it not compelling to upgrade, while waiting for 991.2 which solves both those issues seemed like the no-brainer. In meantime, got to make fiancee' happy with house upgrades and wedding plans which magically lit a bunch of green lights for the next one. Kind of feel like i dodged a bullet with not buying the 991.1 gt3, while still learning a ton in the meantime on this forum and making quality NorCal porsche friends. All good in the 'hood. Only question is if I can find 3rd garage spot to keep the Spyder also.. can't imagine selling it now.

Just give the future Queen Bee your Spyder and all will be well.

Yes I have and that's why I say most who wanted one should have no problem getting one.

I work with the GM mostly and so told him I know someone who doesn't mind paying in the range you mentioned.
Thanks Phil!
